FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

How many people can your space accomadate?

We are licensed for up to 170 people. For smaller groups, we can cordon off sections of the brewery to accommodate the size of your event. For a sense of the layout of our space, please explore our DIGITAL MAP of the taproom.

What is the availability of your space?

Please consult our EVENTS CALENDAR to see dates that already booked with events.

What is the rental fee for your space?

Rental rates vary according to the day of the week and number of people attending. Rentals are based on 5 hour periods. We do not rent on Wednesdays or Thursday evenings. Rental agreement and deposit are required. Please complete our intake form to receive a rental quote.

What sort of equipment does your space provide?

We have a selection of audio/visual components, including full sound system (microphones, power mixer, monitors, speakers) lighting (3 x Yorkville LP-LED4X , Four Pod High Performance LED Lighting System) disco ball, pin lights, screen, and HDMI compatible projector. We will arrange tech test prior to the day of the event, depending on rental needs. Shawn & Ed Brewing Co. staff will assist as necessary.

Can food and drink be available for our event?

We can arrange our bar and kitchen to be open during your event. We serve 8 to 12 different beers at any given time. We also serve a great selection of wines from Flat Rock Cellars. We do not serve spirits, ciders or coolers – no exceptions. You cannot bring in your own alcohol under any circumstances. We also serve a selection of Coca-Cola products. Patrons must adhere to last call announcement. Staff reserve the right to discontinue service if they feel a patron is intoxicated. Beer & wine selections are charged at the current Taproom price. We have an event menu full of great pizzas, salads, and charcuterie boards. We recommend buffet style service where we replenish items over a period of time during your event. We don’t allow for outside catering/food trucks etc. Event food orders should be placed a minimum 5 days ahead of the event. Please consult with our chef for any dietary restrictions.

Do you host weddings?

We don't generally host weddings at the brewery. We have discovered that most folks want plated roast beef dinners, dry ice machines and chair coverings to match the Brides Maid's dresses. That's not us.

But we do offer a great space to throw a party!

We serve beer (of course!), wine, pizzas and a few other nibblies.
